Available Positions

As a SeniorInbound Marketing Strategist, you will be client-facing and will work closely with the strategic director, Inbound Marketing strategists, our content team and other specialists to develop strategies for and implement relevant Inbound Marketing tasks on several clients.  

A passion for analytics, a strong attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines, excellent written and spoken communication skills, project management skills, experience in managing a team, knowledge of proper spelling and grammar and a problem-solving attitude, are essential to succeed in this position. An interest for inbound and experience in digital marketing is non-negotiable.

You are expected to be flexible, resourceful and confident enough to handle the different kinds of clients, training and tasks required from you as a Senior Inbound Marketing Strategist.

Main Responsibilities:

Client Service Management:

  • Ensure overall growth and development of client accounts.
  • Liaising with clients at a senior level on a day-to-day basis, including the taking of briefs, discussing strategy and future opportunities and general client communication.
  • Promoting the expansion of business with existing clients.
  • Understand the urgency in ongoing communication and feedback to client’s requests and queries on a daily basis. 
  • Develop lasting relationships with senior client personnel and using Spitfire senior management as required to cement relationships at a senior level.
  • Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.

Inbound Marketing:

  • A big focus on completing your relevant set training programme with assignments during your initial probation period of three months. 
  • Be responsible and accountable for all elements of the day to day execution and implementation of inbound marketing strategies and tasks including:
    • Content briefing, scheduling, optimising and measurements.
    • Implementing inbound marketing software and other digital tools.
    • Brainstorming new ideas and opportunities for client and Spitfire’s success and presenting these both internally and to clients
    • Updating and optimising the components of the inbound marketing campaign for relevant client campaigns you will work on.
    • Research subject matter, competitors, industry and target audience and present feedback to the team. 
    • Research articles and information related to the subject matter to include in web articles
    • Work with the Inbound team to identify and understand high-level messaging and strategy
    • Monitor trends in client’s industries.
    • Assist with copywriting for blogs, emails, social media platforms, eBooks etc if this is within your skill set.
    • Be involved in keyword research for content strategies and optimise content for search both when it is published and on an ongoing basis.
    • Ensure customer success and be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
    • Provide inbound best practices, with strategic intent of delivering high quality inbound assets 
    • Take the lead in creating monthly performance reports to highlight progress towards goals, areas of improvement and recommendations for future programs.
    • Analyse each clients’ marketing analytics, create reports and recommending future strategies and tactics.
    • Conduct meetings with clients to review results and reporting


  • Completed Degree or Qualification in Strategy, communications, business or marketing.
  • Inbound marketing and HubSpot certified through HubSpot is essential
  • 4-6 years experience in digital strategy and marketing. 
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work at a fast pace under tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience in successfully growing relationships and creating customer success. 
  • Exemplary ability to present and explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
  • Work well independently.
  • Ability to manage a team

The part-time digital copywriter will be responsible for crafting copy for a variety of digital platforms and formats, including inbound marketing collateral, blog posts, emailers, newsletters and web and that is grammatically correct, readable and matches the client's tone. They should possess outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills, strong project management skills and the ability to work at a fast pace under tight deadlines as part of a team, as well as independently. They should also have superior organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through. They need to be agile and able to create ad hoc and responsive content in short turn around times.

The Digital Copywriter reports to the Digital Content Manager, and works closely with the inbound marketing strategists. 

Skills requirements:

  • 1-3 years of Digital Copywriting experience, with proven track record of creating compelling copy for digital platforms.
  • Know Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint like a pro (and Google Docs/Sheets). We’d love it if you were comfortable with WordPress, too.
  • Have experience in using project management software to keep projects on track and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Take a research-driven approach to writing, which will include interviews and taking ownership of sourcing the most appropriate sources for each article.
  • Preferably, have a social media presence and / or blog or Medium account.
  • Interviewing skills - can find and speak to clients/ experts on relevant topics for an article

Job Duties:

  • Must be able to work 20 hours a week, and work on Fridays is a non-negotiable 
  • Create responsive and ad hoc content within the quick turn around times specified. 
  • Create content that’s focused on serving the needs and desires of our clients’ unique target audiences and client brands.
  • Excellent communication skills, knowledge of proper spelling and grammar, a passion for writing and a strong attention to detail as well as being resourceful, confident and flexible, are essential to succeed in this position. Experience in online and digital marketing is necessary to ensure you are a successful Brand Journalist in the Inbound Marketing Industry.
  • Able to write quality copy as needed for a variety of clients in varying fields. The bulk of this will be articles that we expect at a high quality, with references to external sources, interviews done if necessary, but it might also be website copy, email copy or landing page and thank you page copy or long form content. 
  • Provide content creation and inbound best practice with strategic intent with delivery of high quality short and long form content. Minimal reverts.
  • Keep up to date with content trends in inbound marketing to drive conversions.

Job description:

  • Improving the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organisation’s mission 
  • Contributing to short and long-term organisational planning and strategy. 
  • Implementing and documenting financial procedures and policies to ensure the smooth and efficient interaction between the business and finance

  • Ensuring insurance schedule is accurate and claims are managed where necessary
  • Office Management and Office Infrastructure
    • Controlling physical assets and ensuring accurate and complete recording thereof in the company’s fixed asset register
    • Controlling software access rights 
    • Ensuring that the company purchases products and services at the best price relative to the service level required by the business and its customers
    • Managing office supplies and stationery 
    • Managing updates to calendars for scheduled operational and delivery meetings
  • Compiling and submitting relevant weekly, monthly reports as required by the EXCO 
  • Assisting with ongoing financial project planning, analysing resources and hours spent, margins and profitability on relevant client jobs
  • Management of suppliers
  • Up-skilling staff on project and operations processes
  • Recommending and implementing process measures and improvements to continually drive efficiency
  • General day to day support to the Commercial Director and other senior management team members

Skills required:

  • BComm (or equivalent financial diploma)
  • 4-5 years’ experience
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and G-Suite.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate requests and instructions to individuals and groups
